17. At my very worst

1st./   How do I know these things ?

Because.....


I've sought them out for 40 yrs. on now.....

I wanted to know and understand the truth of and about all these things - which, can only be found and discovered via God's Word.

And, because, God set me out on a mission to discover and understand and know what the following verses mean / meant...........

Isaiah 2:22;
Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

Job 40:10-12;

10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.

11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

¹³ Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.

Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Romans 8:23;
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

1 John 3:6;
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1 John 5:18;
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him

Job 40:14;
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

2nd./   And, now, Sept. 2012; at the very worst of me; during a time when sin was at it's end with me......... [ Isaiah 59:19; So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. ]  God raised up this standard; which is herein posted and read - it's entirety ! And, I was instructed, warned, recovered and refreshed here by it.    .

God saved and spared my life again ! As He has done so many, many, oft time before !

Job 33:14-30;

14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

3rd./   " the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance"

Psalm 52:1;
Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.

Romans 2:4;
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

And, I ( for one ) am repented.
